I am a self-taught nature photographer who started taking pictures at the age of around 15.

Trying to catch the essence of what you experience, in one single picture.

Taking pictures is nice, but the real thing is in being outside, not just looking around but become aware of the environment.

I have a weakness for shooting in remote areas.
But when there is a lack of time and money also local regions provide good opportunities for making nature pictures as you can see in the “Terschelling-portfolio”.
